Queen Rania of Jordan hosted a brilliant trendy pre-wedding henna social gathering on Might 22 for her son Crown Prince Hussein’s fiancee Rajwa Al-Saif. Like mom, like daughter-in-law: Rajwa appeared extremely stylish in an opulent robe and veil that was nothing in need of magnificent. Rajwa Al-Saif’s robe and veil took over 1000 to create

The costume put a contemporary spin on the standard Najdi costume, referred to as Sahabi thoub, which originates from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The excessive neck cream robe boasted a flattering cinched waist adorned with gold gildings. The refined mermaid tail enhanced the beautiful fitted silhouette, while the ground size veil added a contact of dramatic magnificence. 

The intricate detailing on the costume, however significantly on the veil, resulted within the delicate robe taking such a very long time to create. The designer advised Vogue Arabia that the veil – which extends to a whopping 10 metres lengthy – took 760 hours to finish utilizing handcrafted tulle. Her robe took 340 hours of labor.

The gold embroidery boasted significant shapes similar to seven stars that symbolise: the seven verses within the opening chapter of the Quran, the seven mountains of Amman and the seven-pointed star on Jordan’s nationwide flag. There are palm timber to symbolise Saudi Arabia, and even strains of poetry embroidered into her outfit. The phrases “I see you, and life turns into extra stunning” are written in gold on her veil.

“I’m very proud and honored [sic] to be a part of this historic union between His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of the honorable  [sic] Hashemite household, and Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif,” Honayda Serifi defined, “Might they be blessed with happiness and their union be topped with success.”

The mom of the groom queen Rania shocked in a powder blue customized robe by Saiid Kobeisy. The costume boasted tonal vertical embellishements, elegant floaty sleeves and a flattering wraparound waist adornment.
