Ice Spice Shares New Song “Think U the Shit (Fart)”

Ice Spice is back with a new song titled “Think U the Shit (Fart).” The Bronx rapper teased the track to much delight earlier this month, and, yes, she raps on the hook, “Think you the shit, bitch?/You not even the fart.” The new song follows her Rema collaboration “Pretty Girl” from this past October. Check out “Think U the Shit (Fart)”—co-produced by RiotUSA, Synthetic, and Venny—below.

Ice Spice gave “Pretty Girl” its live debut during her Saturday Night Live performance this past fall, and Rema joined her on the TV stage to sing his part. During that episode, Ice Spice also performed “In Ha Mood” and was introduced by Taylor Swift, even though she didn’t act in any of the skits.

Last year was Ice Spice’s big glow-up. After releasing her debut EP, Like..?, she updated it with a deluxe edition and hopped on Billboard-charting songs with songs with Taylor Swift, PinkPantheress, and Nicki Minaj. She also crafted a signature drink with Dunkin’ Donuts that earned her a commercial spot alongside the company’s unofficial mascot, Ben Affleck.

Earlier this month, Ice Spice was sued by musicians Duval “D.Chamberz” Chamberlain and Kenley “Kass the Producer” Carmenate, who claim that she copied their song “In That Mood,” which they released on D.Chamberz’s album Boom Bap 2 Drill Rap in July 2022, for her single “In Ha Mood.” Their attorney, Chester R. “Chet” Ostrowski, told Pitchfork that “if you listen to the two songs back-to-back, you will hear the similarities for yourself.”
